ViewMade takes one sentence and returns a finished vertical documentary Short with real archive footage, not generated visuals.

Last checked

ViewMade takes one sentence and returns a finished vertical documentary Short with real archive footage, not generated visuals. The Starter plan produced a Short at $0.58 per render on the 22 August 2026 pricing measurement.

What you actually give it

You give the engine a single sentence describing a real event or topic. That is the entire input. No script, no footage files, no timeline, no editing session. ViewMade accepts the sentence directly and handles everything after it: research with sources, script writing, narration, footage selection from real archives, maps, and charts, word-by-word subtitles, thumbnail, and an upload package.

It does not accept a long article to summarize, a video file to clip, or a channel to manage. If your starting point is existing footage, this is the wrong tool. Tools like Opus Clip or Submagic work on clips you already have. ViewMade starts from nothing but the sentence.

The three steps

  1. You write one sentence about a real event.
  2. ViewMade researches the topic, writes the script, narrates it, and cuts it against real archive footage.
  3. You download the finished Short plus its media credits file and publish it yourself.

What comes back

  • A finished 1080x1920 vertical Short.
  • Word-by-word subtitles burned into the frame, in one of 7 caption styles.
  • Narration in one of 5 voice languages.
  • A title, description, and tags.
  • Background music.
  • Licensed real footage, not AI-generated imagery.
  • A media credits file naming the source of every clip.

The interface runs in 7 languages: English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese.

Limits

This conversion only works when real footage for your topic exists in archives. A sentence about a well-documented event will cut cleanly. A sentence about something never filmed cannot be covered with archive material, and ViewMade will not fabricate visuals to fill the gap. Output is fixed at 1080x1920 vertical; there is no landscape option on this path. There is no free tier and no signup credit: production begins after successful payment. ViewMade reads your YouTube connection with read-only scope, discards the access token after import, and never uploads, edits, deletes, or comments on your channel. Publishing stays entirely yours.

Frequently asked questions

Does it read my sentence directly?

Yes. One sentence is the full input. ViewMade researches from it, writes the script, and produces the finished Short without any other file or prompt from you.

Is the footage AI-generated?

No. Visuals come from real archives, maps, and charts. Every render ships with a media credits file listing the source of each clip, so you know exactly what is on screen.

Can it upload to my YouTube channel?

No. ViewMade requests read-only access, discards the token after import, and performs no uploads, edits, deletions, or comments. You download the package and publish it yourself.

What happens if my topic has no archive footage?

The engine relies on findable real material. Topics with thin visual records are a poor fit here; ViewMade does not generate synthetic footage to cover them.
