ViewMade lists one plan at $29 per month for 50 renders, which works out to $0.58 per Short, per its own pricing page on 22 August 2026. This page covers what happens when you paste a YouTube URL into it instead of typing a topic.

What you actually give it

The engine accepts a YouTube URL directly. You do not need to download the video first, transcribe it, or extract clips yourself. Paste the link and the pipeline reads the video from that link.

Two things about that access, stated plainly:

  • The permission requested is read-only (youtube.readonly). ViewMade cannot upload to your channel, edit your videos, delete anything, or post comments.
  • The access token is discarded after import. No refresh token is stored.

What the URL does not do: it does not turn your video into an AI-generated restyling. ViewMade's output uses real archive footage, maps, and charts with named sources, not generated visuals. If your goal is to re-cut your own footage with new framing only, tools like Opus Clip or Submagic are built for exactly that and may fit better. If your goal is a sourced vertical documentary derived from the subject of the video, this is the right tool.

The three steps

  1. Paste the YouTube URL of the video you want converted.
  2. The engine reads the video, researches the subject, writes the script, and sources real archive footage.
  3. Download the finished vertical Short and publish it yourself.

What comes back

Each render returns a complete package:

  • A finished 1080x1920 vertical video
  • Word-by-word subtitles burned into the image, in one of 7 caption styles
  • Voiceover in one of 5 languages
  • Title, description, and tags
  • Background music
  • Licensed real footage plus a media credit file naming the source of every clip
  • A cover image

Limits

Three limits matter here. First, output is fixed at 1080x1920 vertical; there is no landscape option on this path. Second, voiceover supports 5 languages and the interface supports 7 (English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese); if your source video is outside those, check before paying. Third, because visuals come from real archives rather than a generation model, subjects with thin archival coverage will produce thinner videos than well-documented ones. Production starts after successful payment; there is no free tier and no signup credit.

Frequently asked questions

Does it read my YouTube URL directly?

Yes. You paste the link and the engine imports the video from it. The permission is read-only, the token is discarded after import, and no refresh token is kept.

Will it upload the result to my channel?

No. ViewMade cannot upload, edit, delete, or comment on your channel under any circumstance. You download the file and publish it yourself.

Are the visuals AI-generated?

No. Footage comes from real archives, maps, and charts, and every render ships with a media credit file listing each clip's source. This is the main difference from tools like Revid or InVideo, which generate their visuals.

How much does a single Short cost?

On Starter, $0.58 per Short at 50 renders per month. On Pro, $0.20 per Short at 150 renders per month. Both figures come from the published pricing as of 22 August 2026.
