What you actually give it
ViewMade does not read your paper file or accept a PDF link as input. The engine takes one thing: the finding, written by you in a single sentence. You paste the sentence, for example "A 2024 study found that sleep deprivation reduces memory consolidation by 40 percent." From that sentence the tool runs sourced research around the topic, writes the script, records the voiceover, and cuts the video against real archive footage. If you want the video to reflect the paper accurately, the accuracy lives in the sentence you write. ViewMade will not extract findings from the document for you, and it will not verify your sentence against the full text. That check is yours to do before you paste.
The three steps
- Write the finding of the paper as one declarative sentence and paste it into ViewMade.
- The tool researches the topic, writes the script, and records the voiceover.
- It cuts the script against real archive footage, maps, and charts, then returns the finished Short with a media credit file naming every clip's source.

Each render returns a complete upload package:

- Word-for-word subtitles burned into the image, in one of 7 caption styles
- Voiceover in one of 5 languages
- Title, description, and tags

Limits
Three limits matter for this conversion. First, input: no file ingestion. If your paper has five findings, you run five separate Shorts, one sentence each. Second, language: voiceover supports 5 languages, so if your audience reads in a language outside that set, the output will not match it. Third, imagery: ViewMade pulls real archive footage, maps, and graphs rather than generating visuals. For a paper about a niche lab result with no public imagery, the visual track leans on maps, charts, and related archival material instead of footage of the experiment itself. That is a deliberate trade: every clip carries a named source, which generated visuals cannot offer.

Does it read my paper directly?
No. ViewMade accepts the finding written as one sentence. It does not ingest PDFs, DOIs, or links, and it does not extract claims from the document. Write the sentence yourself and check it against the paper before pasting.
Is the footage AI-generated?
No. Visuals come from real archives, maps, and charts. Every render ships with a media credit file that names the source of each clip.
Can it publish to my YouTube channel?
No. A YouTube connection requests read-only permission only, and the access token is discarded after import. ViewMade cannot upload, edit, delete, or comment on your channel. You download the package and publish it yourself.
What happens if my finding needs more than one video?
Run one render per finding. Each render consumes one credit from your monthly allowance: 50 on Starter, 150 on Pro.
