ViewMade prices its Starter plan at $29 per month for 50 renders, which works out to $0.58 per Short, measured on 22 August 2026. A stream VOD on YouTube fits one specific path here: you hand over the link, the tool reads it, and what comes back is not a trimmed clip of your footage. It is a finished vertical documentary built from real archive material around the subject of that stream. If you want your own frames re-cut into 9:16, this page tells you plainly that ViewMade does not do that.

What you actually give it

You give it a YouTube URL. The permission requested is read-only (youtube.readonly). After the import completes, the access token is discarded and no refresh token is stored. ViewMade cannot upload to your channel, edit it, delete anything, or post comments. What it reads from the stream is the subject matter, not reusable footage. It then researches that subject, writes a script, and sources visuals from real archives, maps, and charts rather than generating them with a video model.

The three steps

  1. Paste the YouTube link of the stream VOD.
  2. Approve the read-only permission; the token is dropped once the import finishes.
  3. Wait for the render, then download the package and publish it yourself.

What comes back

Each render returns:

ItemDetail
Video1080x1920 vertical
SubtitlesWord-by-word, burned into the image, 7 styles
Voiceover5 languages
MetadataTitle, description, tags
AudioBackground music included
VisualsLicensed real footage plus a media credit file naming every clip's source

The media credit file is the part most tools skip. Every clip in the video carries its source in writing.

Limits

There is no free tier and no signup credit; production starts after payment succeeds. The Starter plan is monthly only, with no annual option. Interface languages are seven: English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese. Because visuals come from real archives rather than generation, availability depends on whether footage exists for the subject. Obscure topics may yield thinner visual coverage than well-documented ones. And again: your stream's own pixels are not re-edited into the output.

What it costs

Starter costs $29 per month for 50 renders, $0.58 per Short, monthly billing only. Pro costs $59 per month, or $29.5 per month billed annually at $354 total, a 50 percent discount, for 150 renders at $0.20 per Short. Pro adds 10 AI child videos per month, priority render queue, and API plus MCP access. Agency pricing is custom. Figures measured on 22 August 2026 from viewmade.com/pricing.

For comparison, Opus Clip offers a free tier with Starter at $15 per month, measured 23 August 2026. If your actual need is cutting clips out of long videos you already made, Opus Clip serves that job directly and ViewMade does not.

Frequently asked questions

Does it read my stream VOD on YouTube directly?

Yes, through a read-only scope. It imports the content, discards the access token afterward, stores no refresh token, and never touches your channel beyond reading.

Will my stream footage appear in the final video?

No. The output uses licensed real archive footage, maps, and charts sourced around the topic. Your stream informs the script, not the picture track.

Can I publish straight to my channel from ViewMade?

No. You download the package and upload it yourself. The tool holds no upload rights by design.

What if the topic has little archival footage?

Coverage depends on what exists in archives. Well-documented events render richer videos than obscure ones, and the media credit file shows exactly which sources were used either way.
