One detail makes these numbers more trustworthy than most in the category: TubeGen's own pricing page publishes a real cost-per-minute figure, calculated as real credit spend divided by video length across median users. It is not a fixed rate and not a vendor promise. It is the only pricing page in this category that does so.
What you get for it
The Starter plan includes 33,000 credits per month. The page claims 60 minutes of video per month at that level, which works out to $2.48 per minute of published output. The Pro plan claims 148 minutes for $297, which works out to about $2.01 per minute. Both per-minute figures are also printed on the page itself, derived from median user credit spend rather than a fixed conversion rate.
The page does not publish a per-video figure in videos per month. It sells minutes and credits, so if you think of your output in finished shorts rather than minutes, you have to do that division yourself against your own usage history.

Two things to note when comparing. First, Fluxnote's footage source could not be verified: the vendor says "footage" but does not say whether it is generated or library material, so the table records that honestly. Second, ViewMade's figure is a render count, TubeGen's is a minute count, and the two units are not directly comparable. What is directly comparable is the invoice: $29 versus $149 for the entry tier, both billed monthly.
Before you cancel
Before you cancel, answer three questions with your own data, not the marketing page's. How many finished videos did you actually export last month? If the answer is far below the 60 minutes your plan covers, you are paying for capacity you do not use, and a smaller plan elsewhere may fit better than cancellation alone. Do unused credits roll over to next month? That is defined in their terms, not on the pricing page, and it changes whether an unused balance is lost money or deferred value. And did you pay annually or monthly? If you paid annually, the arithmetic of leaving mid-term is different from leaving at a monthly boundary. Write down your last three invoices and your actual exported output side by side. That single comparison tells you whether the problem is the price, the volume, or the fit.
