What you get for it
Divide each pack by its credits and the spread is wide. The $5 pack works out to $0.050 per credit. The $900 pack works out to $0.010 per credit. The same unit of generation costs five times more in the smallest pack than in the largest one. That is the mechanism behind the "too expensive" feeling: a light user topping up small pays the worst rate on the page.
On subscriptions, the vendor claims 33 videos per month from the Starter plan's 500 credits and 166 videos from Pro's 2500 credits. Those are the vendor's own figures; the page does not publish a verified per-video figure. If you take the claim at face value, Starter costs about $0.45 per video on monthly billing. If your real output is lower, your effective per-video cost rises accordingly.

Fluxnote is the lowest measured entry price in this comparison set. Vicsee undercuts it on claimed volume but not on entry price. ViewMade costs more per month and produces fewer units; what it buys is footage taken from real archives rather than generated, plus a media file naming the source of every clip. If your channel is built on documented events, that difference may be worth the gap. If it is not, it will not be.
Before you cancel
Three questions decide whether the bill is actually wasted. First, how many finished videos did last month produce? Compare that number against the 33-video claim attached to Starter; the gap between claim and output is your real per-video cost. Second, do unused credits roll over? If they expire monthly and you are consistently leaving credits on the table, you are paying for capacity you never use, and a smaller arrangement fits better. Third, did you pay annually?
