What you get for it

The Lite plan includes 400 credits per month. The vendor claims 60 videos per month on that plan. Take the claim at face value and the arithmetic is:

• $39 divided by 60 claimed videos = $0.65 per short.
• $39 divided by 400 credits = $0.0975 per credit.

Both figures depend on the vendor's claim holding in practice. The page publishes a video count, so a per-short figure can be stated, but it is the vendor's own number, not an independently verified one. If you produced fewer than 60 shorts last month, your actual cost per finished video was higher. At 30 finished videos, the same $39 works out to $1.30 per short. At 15, it is $2.60.

One question worth answering before judging value: how many of those 60 did you actually export last month?

Two notes on that table. First, ViewMade's Starter price of $29 undercuts Virvid's Lite by $10 while publishing its own per-render figure rather than leaving you to divide. Second, Fluxnote's footage column reads "Not measured" because the vendor says "footage" but does not state whether it is generated or library-sourced, and this comparison does not guess.

Before you cancel

Before cancelling, three questions decide whether leaving actually saves money. First, how many finished videos did Virvid produce for you last month, and does that number justify $39 on its own? Second, do unused credits roll over into the next month, or expire with the billing cycle? If they expire, every unused credit is already spent money, and waiting another cycle to use them up may not be worth the wait. Third, check which rate you are actually on. The figures on this page are monthly rates, but confirm from your own invoice whether you subscribed monthly or annually, because the two carry different totals and different end dates. Will I lose my unused credits if I cancel?
