ViewMade's Starter plan costs $29 per month and includes 50 renders, which works out to $0.58 per short, measured on 22 August 2026. The tool takes a topic your marketing team already owns, researches it with sources, writes the script, and returns a finished vertical documentary Short built from real archive footage.

What is actually different for you

Most of the tools in this category generate the picture. A video model invents each frame, so the visual has no relationship to the event you are describing. For a marketing team that publishes under a brand name, that gap is a problem: a viewer who asks "where is that shot from" has no answer, and a competitor who checks your sources finds none.

ViewMade works from the other side. It pulls real archive footage, maps, and charts, then renders the Short at 1080x1920 with word-for-word subtitles. Every render ships with a media credits file that names the source of each clip. If a client, a legal reviewer, or a platform moderator asks where a frame came from, the answer is a file, not a shrug.

This matters specifically for repurposing. Marketing teams already produce the hard part: the topic, the angle, the claim. The expensive remaining step is turning that into video. ViewMade automates that last step without inventing footage that could contradict the copy your team approved.

The arithmetic

The Starter plan is $29 per month, monthly billing only, with no annual option. It includes 50 renders per month at $0.58 per short (viewmade.com/pricing, 22 August 2026).

The Pro plan is $59 per month, or $29.50 per month on annual billing at $354 per year, a 50 percent discount. It includes 150 renders per month at $0.20 per short, plus 10 AI child videos per month, a priority render queue, and API and MCP access.

For a team publishing a few Shorts per week, Starter covers the volume. For a team running a daily Short across several topic lines, Pro halves the per-short cost and adds the API. There is no free tier and no signup credit; production starts after payment.

What you get back

Each render returns a finished package:

  1. The video itself, 1080x1920 vertical, with embedded word-for-word subtitles in one of 7 caption styles.
  2. A voiceover in one of 5 languages, with the interface available in 7 languages: English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese.
  3. A title, description, and tags, ready to paste.
  4. Background music.
  5. The media credits file: a licensed real-footage record naming the source of every clip.

The credits file is the item most tools skip. For content marketers, it converts "we made a video about this event" into "here is where each shot came from," which is the version of the answer that survives a client review.

Where this is the wrong tool for you

If your marketing already produced a long video, ViewMade is not the tool. Opus Clip finds clips inside footage you already made, has a free tier, and starts at $15 per month for the Starter plan (opus.pro/pricing, 23 August 2026). It takes your upload, not a topic.

If you need to edit around a recording with the most control, use Descript. Its Hobbyist plan is $24 per month on annual billing or $35 monthly, and it gives frame-level editing over material you supply (descript.com/pricing, 23 August 2026). ViewMade does not accept your footage as the visual base.

If you only need captions and polish on an existing clip, Submagic is built for that; its pricing could not be verified from its pricing page in August 2026, so check it directly. And if you want scheduled, hands-off publishing from a topic with generated visuals rather than sourced archive footage, AutoShorts does that job.

Frequently asked questions

Does ViewMade post to my YouTube channel?

No. The YouTube connection requests read-only access only. The access token is discarded after import and no refresh token is stored. ViewMade cannot upload, edit, delete, or comment on your channel. You download the package and publish it yourself.

Is the footage AI-generated?

No. Visuals come from real archive sources, maps, and charts, and each render includes a media credits file naming the source of every clip. This is the main difference from tools that generate every frame with a video model.

What does a Short cost?

On Starter, $0.58 per render at 50 renders per month. On Pro, $0.20 per render at 150 renders per month. Both figures are from viewmade.com/pricing, measured 22 August 2026.

Which languages are supported?

Voiceover in 5 languages, interface in 7 (English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese), and 7 caption styles embedded in the video.
