What is actually different for you

Most video tools optimize for speed: type a prompt, get a clip, publish. For a classroom or a course, that trade is backwards. If a student checks a claim in your video and finds nothing behind it, the video loses its teaching value. ViewMade optimizes for accuracy instead. It does not generate visuals with an AI video model. It pulls real archive footage, maps, and charts, and every render ships with a media credits file listing the source of each clip. When a student asks "where did that footage come from," you have a document that answers it. The output is a finished vertical documentary Short: sourced research, script, voiceover, word-by-word subtitles, cover image, title, description, and tags. You download the file and publish it yourself. ViewMade never touches your channel: its YouTube connection requests read-only permission, discards the access token after import, and cannot upload, edit, delete, or comment on your behalf.

For a semester-length series of one Short per week, roughly 15 videos, the Starter plan covers the term three times over at $0.58 each. If you produce more than about 25 Shorts per month, the Pro annual plan at $0.20 per render becomes cheaper per unit. Pro also adds priority rendering and API access, which matters if you batch-produce a module's videos in one session. There is no free tier and no signup credit; production begins after payment. The Agency plan has custom pricing if you are producing for multiple courses or departments.

Each render returns a complete package, measured 22 August 2026:

The media credits file is the item to weigh here. Any video you show in a class can be questioned on sourcing. With generated visuals there is no answer to give. With this package, the answer is attached to the file.

Where this is the wrong tool for you

If your material already exists as footage, do not use ViewMade. Three tools fit that case better:

Frequently asked questions

Does ViewMade upload to my channel?
