What you give it
You give it one topic sentence. That is the input for the shorts strip: a subject such as "the 1958 Preston By-pass" or "the Edmund Fitzgerald". ViewMade does not accept an existing video to clip, an article URL, or a product link. If your starting point is footage you already shot, this is not the tool for that job.
What comes back
Each render returns a complete package:

Where the footage comes from
The visuals come from real archive material: historical film, maps and charts matched to the topic. No frame in the render is produced by a generative video model. This matters on Instagram because viewers of documentary content recognise AI-generated imagery quickly, and a single synthetic-looking shot can cost you credibility with the audience you are trying to build.
Every render ships with a media credit file. It lists the source of each clip used in the cut, so if a viewer or a rights holder asks where a shot came from, you have the answer in writing before you post. When this is not the right fit
