What you give it
You give the shorts strip one thing: a topic sentence. "The 1972 Andes flight crash" or "The collapse of FTX" is enough. The tool handles the rest of the pipeline from that single input: it researches the subject, writes the script, generates the narration, cuts the footage, and burns in captions.

How it works
- Research. You submit a topic sentence, and the system gathers sourced material about the event before anything is written.

Where the footage comes from
This is the part that separates ViewMade from most tools in this category. The visuals are not generated by a video model. They come from real archives, maps, and graphs, which matters for news summaries because viewers can tell the difference between actual footage of an event and a synthetic approximation of it.
Every render ships with a media credits file that names the source of each clip used in the video. If you publish the Short and a viewer or platform asks where a frame came from, you have the answer in writing.
