What you give it

The strip accepts a plain-language subject, not a script, not footage, not a Reddit URL to scrape. How it works
- Research. You submit a topic sentence, and the system gathers sourced material about the event before writing anything.
- Script. A narration script is drafted from that research, structured as a short documentary rather than a listicle.
- Render. The script is voiced, cut against real archive footage, maps, and charts, and captioned word by word at 1080x1920.
- Package. You receive the finished video, a cover image, title, description, tags, and a media credit file naming the source of every clip.
Where the footage comes from
This is the part that separates the tool from most of the category. Most topic-to-video products run your prompt through a video generation model, so every frame is synthetic. ViewMade pulls from real archives: historical photographs, news footage, maps, and data graphics matched to the events in the script. A video about the Edmund Fitzgerald shows period photography of the ship, not an AI approximation of it. Every render arrives with a media credit file listing where each clip came from, so you can verify licensing before you publish. StoryShort, measured on 19 August 2026, uses web-sourced imagery with only partial source crediting; Revid and AutoShorts use generated visuals with no credit file. If your channel covers true crime, aviation disasters, war history, or engineering failures, viewers can tell generated footage from archive footage, and comment sections call it out. Pro adds 10 AI child videos per month, priority render queue, and API plus MCP access. When this is not the right fit
This strip makes documentaries about real events from a topic sentence. It does not edit footage you supply, and it does not schedule posts to your channel. If your job is one of these, use a different tool:
