What you give it
You give it a topic sentence. That is the input: a subject you want covered, such as "the crash of Flight 4590" or "the Edmund Fitzgerald". ViewMade handles the research, the script, the voiceover, the footage selection, and the edit from that single line. It does not take your own clips, your script draft, or an existing video to rework. If you already have footage, this is not the tool for that job; see the section on poor fits below.

How it works
- Research. You submit a topic and the system researches it before writing anything.
- Script. A documentary-style script is written from that research, structured for a short vertical format.
- Assembly. The script is voiced, cut against real archive footage, maps, and charts, and captioned word by word in your chosen style.
- Delivery. You download the finished file with its title, description, tags, thumbnail, and media credits, then publish it yourself.
ViewMade does not upload to your channel. Its YouTube connection requests read-only permission only (youtube.readonly), and the access token is discarded after import. It cannot upload, edit, delete, or comment on your channel.
Where the footage comes from
This is the part that separates ViewMade from most tools in this category. The visuals are not generated by a video model. The yearly Pro plan is a 50% discount off the monthly rate. Starter is monthly only; there is no yearly option at that tier. Pro adds 10 AI children videos per month, priority render queue, and API plus MCP access. Agency pricing is custom. When this is not the right fit
ViewMade makes one thing: a researched documentary Short about a topic, built from real footage. It does not edit material you already have.
